Sam did write me...a week and a half later?

What does this mean considering that it arrived a week and a half later than I had expected it to arrive:

Written two nights after we met:

Lower case? Lower case? Don't I deserve more than lower case? Does this mean I'm supposed to make an invitation somewhere? Does he want me to "romance" him? Is he playing hard to get? Or am I just an idiot?

I shall not pursue the can of worms. Let's leave the beetle on it's back for a little while and see if it flips over.

Update...it never flipped over. He must have met someone more suited to him, ie, stuffier, more annoying, and less attractive than me. Oh well! Keep on moving...
